I. Overview

The office building is a modern, intelligent structure. As a platform for external communication and presentation, the establishment of a robust security system is particularly critical. To ensure the safety of assets and personnel within the building, it is of utmost importance to build a security system that is technologically advanced, mature, user-friendly, scalable, easy to maintain, and highly reliable.

Due to the unique nature of the building, the flow of people is relatively complex, and management tends to be weaker after working hours at night. Relying solely on human resources for security is far from sufficient to meet safety requirements. The purpose of establishing the entire monitoring system is to prevent or promptly detect incidents. Only by creating a comprehensive security system that integrates technical and human-based measures can the safety of the entire building be truly guaranteed. Through security technology, equipment, and systems, security personnel can respond quickly to intruders, identify and apprehend criminals in a timely manner, and create a strong deterrent effect. Moreover, security technology can detect potential hazards, prevent damage, and reduce accidents, making it a vital preventive tool in public security work. In today’s era of highly advanced technology, crimes are becoming increasingly sophisticated and concealed, making the establishment of a modern security system even more essential.

II. System Requirements

  • Implement video capture, processing, storage, playback, control, display, and management.

  • Enable any front-end video to be displayed on the video wall.

  • Support streaming media video forwarding.

  • Provide system business management, user management, device configuration management, device fault management, performance management, log management, and security management.

  • Support electronic map display.

  • Offer comprehensive network management functions.

III. Solution

Solution Overview

The system consists of front-end IP cameras, a central management server, a streaming media server, IPSAN storage, a decoding server, and clients. Depending on the monitoring location, front-end cameras include dome cameras, bullet cameras, and PTZ cameras, all connected via IP.

To ensure safety within the jurisdiction, video surveillance measures are implemented in key areas. Specific details are as follows:

  1. A total of 43 video surveillance points are set up to monitor their respective areas and store video data independently.

  2. The video surveillance format uses 720p and 1080p, with H.264 encoding.

  3. All cameras operate 24/7 to monitor their respective areas.

  4. Video surveillance data must be stored for 30 days.

IV. Product Advantages

  1. Gigabit bandwidth ensures no delay in video transmission.

  2. Supports large-frame mainstream video transmission.

  3. Fiber-optic long-distance transmission with strong anti-interference capabilities.

  4. Offers both external DC power and built-in power supply options.
